Pak-Bot Book a demo

AI for fruit packing and vegetable packhouses

Pak-Bot works on the packing line, not just in head office. It knows what is in each cool room, what is being packed right now and what each order needs, and it tells people what to move before money is lost.

What Pak-Bot does in a packhouse

  • FIFO guardrails at the point of movement

Tied to your pallet IDs and cool-room locations, Pak-Bot flags a worker who scans a new lot of berries while an older lot is still in the cooler. Most inventory systems only report old stock after it spoils.

  • Predictive waste warnings

Pak-Bot combines current packing speed with inventory age to warn managers that product will expire before it can be packed or sold.

  • A true promise to deliver

When sales asks whether you can fill an extra 500 crates, Pak-Bot checks stock and what is being packed on the line right now, so the answer reflects the pack-out rate.

  • Pack to order without over-packing

Producepak reverse-calculates the raw material each order needs and guides staff to select it FIFO. Ask Pak-Bot for shortages against tomorrow's orders and get them as a list.

  • Batch waste and yield

Waste is recorded and graded per batch. Ask which batches had unusual waste this week, or compare yield by grower, variety or production line.

  • Zero sync delay

Pak-Bot is native to Producepak. For leafy greens and berries, skipping the 15 to 30 minute sync of a bolt-on AI tool matters.

Every shipment correct, from pick to truck

Staff scan crates, bins, totes or pallets onto orders, or let Producepak choose the inventory by FIFO. A wrong pallet raises an alarm on the device and on the logistics dashboard. With optional RFID on forklifts, a pallet is selected the moment it is lifted and added to the order when it goes on the truck.

Pak-Bot then answers the questions that used to need a phone call: which orders are still being picked, what is short on the Loblaws order, and who picked pallet 5335.

Works with the hardware you already have

Any barcode scanner in keyboard mode works with Producepak on PC, Mac, Android or iOS. Scales send weights straight into the app. RFID pallet control adds automatic pallet location tracking, with hardware from around $500 per forklift.

Pallet maps show exactly where each pallet sits by cool room, aisle and position, and Pak-Bot works on the same live data.
