What is Pak-Bot?
Pak-Bot is the fresh produce AI assistant built into Producepak. It answers plain-language questions about inventory, sales, orders, employees, suppliers and customers, quality control and yield, and can build reports and charts, email and print documents and labels, enter orders, and design new labels, invoices and BOLs.
Who is Pak-Bot for?
Fruit and vegetable packers, fresh produce wholesalers, importers and exporters, fresh cut and food service companies, and growers who pack their own produce. It suits single-shed operations and multi-site packhouse groups.
Is my data sent to ChatGPT?
No. Your data stays on Producepak servers. Only the prompt you type is sent to the language model. Producepak does not sell or share your data, and you can extract it at any time through the API.
Who can see what in Pak-Bot?
Pak-Bot uses Producepak permissions. It knows which employees may access sales data and which site each employee works at, and filters its answers by site.
Can Pak-Bot enter orders from email?
Yes. Pak-Bot can check a Gmail account and add new orders automatically, or you can paste or drop an order into Pak-Bot for automatic entry.
Can Pak-Bot create labels for a new retail customer?
Yes. Give Pak-Bot your customer's label specification and Producepak can generate those labels without using the label designer. It can also create new invoice, BOL and shipping document formats.
Do I need Producepak to use Pak-Bot?
Yes. Pak-Bot is native to Producepak, which is why it sees every scan the moment it happens. Producepak covers inventory, packing, quality inspection, traceability and recall, sales, logistics, shipping and grower payments.
Which devices and languages are supported?
Any phone, tablet or computer. Install the app on Android or Windows, or use it in a browser. Producepak is available in all languages.
Where is Pak-Bot hosted?
In Producepak data centres: USA, Europe and Africa users sign in at app3.producepak.com, and Australia, New Zealand and Asia users at sydney3.producepak.com. You can also run Producepak on your own server or have it co-located, for a setup fee.
How long does implementation take?
Typically one to three weeks, depending on the complexity of your business. Producepak is always deployed by a Producepak consultant; self-installation is not offered.
How is Pak-Bot use measured?
Pak-Bot questions use credits, shown in the top right of the chat. Ask your Producepak consultant for pricing for your business.
Which finance apps does it work with?
Producepak sends invoices (AR) and purchase orders (AP) to Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, SAGE, SaasAnt and Acumatica. Producepak is not a finance app and does not calculate tax.
